Noorjahan CJ is a dedicated Research Scholar, Consultant Psychologist, and Psychology Academician based in Palakkad, Kerala. Currently employed at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, Noorjahan holds dual roles as both a Research Scholar and a Student Counselor. In her capacity as a Research Scholar, she secures funding for multiple research projects by developing detailed proposals and delivering compelling presentations to grant committees. Additionally, she leads workshops and seminars on effective research practices, fostering a culture of excellence within the scholarly community.
Simultaneously, in her role as a Student Counselor, Noorjahan provides confidential counseling services to university students dealing with personal, academic, and career-related issues. She conducts individual and group counseling sessions, facilitates workshops, and collaborates with campus resources to ensure student well-being, all while maintaining accurate records and adhering to ethical guidelines.
Noorjahan's diverse professional background also includes contributions to academia through various roles, including as a Guest Lecturer at Govt Victoria College in Palakkad, Kerala, a Psychology Apprentice (Student Counselor) at Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Government College in Attappadi, Kerala, and an Assistant Professor at Najath Arts And Science College in Nellipuzha, Kerala.Educationally, Noorjahan is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Aligarh Muslim University. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calicut, Calicut.
Additionally, she completed her Intermediate education at GVHSS Agali in Palakkad and SSLC at GVHSS Karakurissi in Palakkad.Noorjahan's contributions to the field of psychology extend beyond her professional roles. She has presented papers at national and international conferences, actively contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the field.
