A six month online/ offline internship in collaboration with India Meteorological Department, Trivandrum under the supervision of Dr. Saleem Ali ( Alumnus of IIT Madras)
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Thiruvananthapuram, in association with Symbol Academy, invites applications for Research / Project Internship positions under the supervision of Dr. Saleem Ali.
This program aims to nurture research skills and provide hands-on experience in atmospheric sciences, computational modelling, and data-driven studies.
🎓 Eligibility
Students currently pursuing:
- B.Tech / M.Tech
- MCA
- B.Sc / M.Sc (Physics or related disciplines)
🔍 Internship Objectives
1. Customized Project Themes
Internship topics will be assigned based on each student’s academic background and technical proficiency.
2. Flexible Mentoring Mode
- In-house (on-site) mentoring
- Online mentoring
3. Certification
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive an Internship Certificate from IMD Thiruvananthapuram.
